Raven Chacon’s seven-channel installation The Naming of Names places archival footage of Navajo Nation alongside Ray Bradbury’s The Martian Chronicles, with field recordings and electronic music composed by the artist. Topographical drawings connect Canyon de Chelly and Mars’s Valles Marineris, turning landscape, naming and the colonial gaze into questions to listen through. October 24, 2026–November 7, 2027, Floor 6 at SFMOMA. Included with general admission.
