Kirsten Reese: Future Forest

about

Forest field recordings, nine instrumentalists and projected text form a spatial composition developed with ecoacoustics researcher Sandra Müller. Kirsten Reese and ensemble recherche connect close listening to ecological relationships through recordings from German forests and Vienna’s Johannser Kogel. Performances are 23 November at 18:00 and 24 November at 19:00; the first is followed by a discussion.
