The fifth edition of Palo Alto’s free biennial interactive media-art festival transforms downtown public spaces with light, sound and technology, running October 13–16, 2027. The City of Palo Alto Public Art Program is inviting national and international artists and teams to propose an interactive installation for Lytton Plaza or one of up to five temporary outdoor media artworks. Applications close November 16, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, with no application fee. The 2027 artist programme and daily festival hours have not yet been announced.
