LOCATION:Gray Area / Grand Theater\, San Francisco
DESCRIPTION:venue: Gray Area / Grand Theater\, San Francisco\n\nvenue: Gra
y Area / Grand Theater\, San Francisco Summary: Computational poet and HCI
researcher Alicia Guo introduces language-based art through RiTa\, Nounsi
ng and creative coding. Participants work toward generative poems and text
systems that change through rules\, rather than a conventional poetry rea
ding. Previously documented details: November 18\, 2026\, 6–8 pm PST\, Gra
 y Area / Grand Theater\; bring a laptop\, no coding experience required. S
liding scale\, suggested $25\; the classroom is not ADA accessible. The of
ficial page currently denies access\, so current software setup and bookin
g arrangements could not be reverified. soundsol taste note: A practical r
oute into generative art through language: the changing text and its under
lying procedure are both part of the work. Guo leads the session\; RiTa an
d Nounsing are tools\, not additional artists. Original source: https://gr
